Analytics is off by default

On your first visit, the website does not load Google Analytics or set analytics cookies. Analytics starts only when you actively select “Allow anonymous analytics”. Choosing “Necessary features only” does not affect browsing, language switching, WhatsApp, email or other website functions.

What is measured after consent

• Page views, scrolling and pages visited;
• Visit times, average engagement and return-visit trends;
• Traffic sources, device types, and approximate country, region or city inferred from network information;
• Clicks on consultation links, WhatsApp, email, the identity pathways guide and social platform links;
• Form start/submission status, embedded video interactions and public file downloads on future public pages; form contents are not sent as analytics events.

Google Analytics may infer an approximate location from an IP address, but Starmoon Consulting does not see visitors’ full raw IP addresses in Analytics reports.

What we do not collect

This website’s analytics events do not contain names, phone numbers, email contents, WhatsApp messages, form contents, WeChat IDs, client files, user IDs or sensitive query parameters. We have not enabled ad personalization, Google Signals, enhanced conversions, session recordings, heatmaps or Clarity.

Google Analytics and cookies

After a visitor consents, the website loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-YG5YMMYF5Q). Google may set analytics cookies beginning with _ga to distinguish visits and generate aggregate reports. Ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization remain denied.

As the analytics service provider, Google processes the relevant data under its terms and privacy policy. Please see the Google Privacy Policy.

Embedded video

Homepage video is hosted by Vimeo. Before you click play, only a locally hosted cover is shown; the Vimeo player is not loaded. Playing connects your browser to Vimeo and its service providers and transmits the network and device information needed for playback. The player uses the DNT parameter, which does not mean there is no third-party data processing. This playback choice is separate from Google Analytics consent.

How to change your choice

Your choice is stored only in the browser on your current device for 180 days and is not uploaded to build a user profile. The website asks again when that period expires. If the analytics purpose or collection scope changes materially, the website also updates the consent version and asks again.

After you make a choice, a “Privacy settings” control is available on the page. You can reopen it at any time and select “Necessary features only”. If analytics has already loaded, the page reloads to stop subsequent analytics events and attempts to delete existing GA analytics cookies on this domain. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
